Water Hyacinth, also known by its scientific name as Eichhornia Crassipes, is found throughout all tropical regions. This floating plant produces attractive leaves that appear thick and waxy.
Care & Maintenance for Water Hyacinth
Water Hyacinth will grow and spread quickly and may regular trimmings. The plant’s fast growth allows it to quickly and efficiently pull excess nutrients from the water column, keeping the aquarium or pond water clean and clear. Water Hyacinth can be kept in aquariums as well as ponds.

- Temperature Range: 68-80° F
- Tank Placement: Floating
Water Hyacinth is a floating plant and does not have any special requirements. It will appreciate good light and the more intense the light the faster the growth.

they arrived QUITE quickly and were in primo condition. My fish love to play with them, and come fall I collect them all and donate them to a friend's pygmy goats. I call that goat salad
