Description
Red Rubin Sword | Potted
Red Rubin Sword is a cultivated variety of sword species. The relatively narrow leaves of Red Rubin Sword are truly stunning. The plant produces leaves that are a mixture of red and green with visible veins on their surface. They make this plant very distinctive and noticeable.
Care & Maintenance for Red Rubin Sword
Red rubin Sword is undemanding, hardy and adaptable. It will do well in most water conditions. It will appreciate moderate level of lighting and some fertilization which can be provided either as root tabs or liquid fertilizer.
- Minimum Lighting Required: Moderate
- Temperature Range: 68-82°F
- Tank Placement: Background
Red Rubin Sword does not need to be planted in specialized substrate but, as it is true with most aquarium plants, it will grow better, producing larger and more intensly colored leaves, if it is planted in nutrient rich substrate such as Fluval Stratum or Rio Escuro. Sword plants will propagate readily in aquariums by spreading runners.
Red Rubin Sword is also available for purchase bare root, and you can find other varieties of Sword plants here.
