Ludwigia Super Red Mini is a strikingly beautiful aquarium plant. Under strong light, the plant will produce small, oval and intesnly red colored leaves and stems. Under moderate light, the plant's leaves will turn a beatuful olive green color.

Care & Maintenance for Ludwigia Super Red Mini

Ludwigia Super Red Mini is highly adaptable and fast growing. As it reaches the surface, the leaves become more compact, and the stems may begin grow horizontally across the water surface, creating an attractive "canopy" over the aquarium.

• Temperature Range: 72-82°F
• Tank Placement: Midground - Background

If intensely red coloration is desired, provide Super Red Mini Ludigia with lots of light and good fertilization. The plant will also thrive under moderate light but is likely to produce green colored leaves. The plant looks best when planted in the background areas of the aquarium and in tightly-spaced groups of several stems. Regular trimming with aquascaping scissors will help keep the plant more compacted. Cuttings can be replanted in the substrate.
