Ozelot Red Sword produces red-dappled oval-shaped leaves. The leaves with splashes of dark and irregularly shaped blotches make this plant stand out from all others in the tank.

Care & Maintenance for Ozelot Red Sword

Echinodorus Ozelot is an easy to grow plant that is very tolerant of varied water conditions. Like most swords, Ozelot Red Sword is a heavy root feeder. For this reason, it will grow better, bigger, and more lush in nutrient-rich substrate. Alternatively, if planted in gravel or sand, we recommend that fertilizing root tabs be inserted near the plant's roots to provide it with appropriate nutrients.

• Temperature Range: 70-82°F
• Tank Placement: Midground and Background

Ozelot Red Sword can serve as a focal point in your aquarium, providing variety and catching the eye even in a heavily planted aquarium. It should be planted in the midground and background areas of the aquarium. No special care is required, but Ozelot Red Sword will appreciate root tab fertilization.
