Maintenance of Mystery Snails for Sale
Our mystery snails may vary in size once they reach maturity. You can expect them to grow to between 1.5” and 2” by the time they are adults. There’s not much you need to do to make them happy. They will thrive in nearly all types of aquariums as long as they have a good source of food such as algae and can scavenge other foods (e.g. algae wafers). Some of the basic care requirements are listed below.
- Diet: Algae Wafers, Fresh Vegetables
- Water temperature: 72-82° F
- Tank Setup: 1+ gallons
Because these snails are so easy to care for, even beginners can enjoy them and should freely add them to their tanks. Our mystery snails for sale do really well in tanks with all sorts of fish, including small or nano fish.

Posted by Laura on 19 May 2020These snails are great - they came carefully packed and not 5 minutes after I put them in water, they revived and started exploring. They have all been alive and happy cleaning up my betta tank for a week now. I got a white, grey, gold, and 2 different shades of brown - all very pretty.

All doing great, but they were all the same color

We were slightly disappointed that they were all the same color- we thought we'd be getting a variety. But that's a minor issue. --Modern Aquarium Reply-- Our apologies, it was by pure "luck" they all came in the same color, they should have been a variety of colors for sure. Apologies for that mistake.

Posted by Kass on 6 May 2020I was so worried when I got them. My husband didn’t know what the box was... he had it outside with him for quite sometime and said the wind kept knocking it off the car!! Poor guys! But after acclimating them... they popped right out and I love them.
