Micro Sword
Micro Sword, also known by its scientific name as Liaeopsis Brasiliensis, originates from South America. This grasslike plant produces a thick and lush "lawn" and is sought after by those aquascapers who aim to recreate grassy fields in their aquariums.
Care & Maintenance
Micro Sword propagates from side shoots. It will grow best when planted in a nutrient-rich substrate and provided with good light. It will reach approximately 1.5 to 3 inches in height.
- Minimum Lighting Required: Moderate to Strong
- Temperature Range: 70-83° F
- Tank Placement: Foreground
Micro Sword should be planted in groups and allowed to spread across the foreground of the aquarium.
Micro Sword is also available potted.

Posted by Logan on 7 Mar 2022Micro sword is dying on me less than a week. I am new to the hobby, purchased substrate, water concentrated for 4 weeks with Prime before adding plants. What am I doing wrong? Lighting is 8-10 hours a day. Micro sword is translucent and weak looking, not standing tall and lively. HELP

Posted by Alyssa Magiera on 4 Dec 2021Received a good sized, healthy clump with a number of tiny baby plants already attached. It was enough to break up and spread across a pretty good sized area of my tank. This stuff spreads like crazy, so in a few months, I should have a lush carpet!
