Description
Ludwiga Peruensis
Ludwigia Peruensis, commonly known as Ludwiga Glandulosa, originates from North America. It is a strikingly beautiful plant. This variant produces small spade-shaped leaves in colors and shades ranging from brown to dark/intense red. Grown under ideal conditions, with good lighting and fertilization, this plant will exhibit intense red coloration and will stand out in your tank. It looks best when planted in groups.
Caring for Our Ludwiga Peruensis
If provided with proper care, Ludwiga Peruensis will grow quickly, producing intensely olive-green/pink or red leaves. The plant likes good lighting and the more intense the light the more robust growth and intense coloration the plant will exhibit. While not necessary, Ludwiga Peruensis will also appreciate some fertilization.
- Minimum Lighting Required: Medium-High
- Temperature Range: 72-82° F
- Tank Placement: Midground-Background
Ludwiga Peruensis should be planted in small groups in the middle or back of the aquarium. Stems should be planted individually. Regular trimming will keep the plant compact and looking its best. Propagation is from cuttings and side shoots.

Plants
I only have 4 stars because I didn't feel like the amount of plants I got could be considered 2 bunches. It was more like 2 stems. Hoping it was just a mix up and looking forward to ordering again. Thanks

Ludwigia Peruensis
I ordered this, along with some Ludwigia red super mini. They both arrived in great shape as 2 large bunches of well-rooted stems. They are doing well a couple of weeks after planting., with root tabs, a CO2 system and plenty of light. For the most part, my order of several plants was well packaged and shipped in a timely fashion, which I was worried about, since I live in the northeast and ordered them in midwinter. I do wish the website had better information regarding the status of my order. That did not change from "Awaiting Fulfillment" until after the order arrive here. I did receive a notice on my FEDEX account stating that a mystery order was on its way, but no acknowledgement from MA. At that point, the person I chatted with on the site was unaware that package was indeed my order. The mystery was solved once it arrived, but I'm glad I was home then to bring it inside from the cold.

LUDWIGIA PERUENSIS - SET OF 2 BUNCHES
Incredible quality and quantity. Well started and very bright red leaves. I haven't planted them yet as they are still in quaratine (All of my plants and fish go through this) but they look to be a great addition to the tank. I should have ordered more and will to be sure I can fill in the space on this 125 gallon aquarim.
