Planting Your Potted Plants
Adding your live potted aquarium plants to your tank is easy. First, remove the plants from the pot and then gently separate their roots from rock wool with your fingers. If the roots are long or overgrown, you may cut them back, making planting easier and stimulating new root growth. While it is totally acceptable and safe to plant the plants with small fragments of rock wool still on the roots, if you want all of it completely removed from the roots, try rinsing the roots under temperate running tap water or remove it with tweezers.
Once your plant roots are clean, divide individual plants into smaller bundles before planting. Under good conditions, they will sprout new roots very quickly. Some plants may have different planting instructions. If so, they will be specified on their product page.
