Fissidens Nobilis moss originates from Asia. It is a beautiful aquatic moss with delicate looking feathery leaves. If you are looking to add flare to your aquascape, this moss will most certainly accomplish it.
Care & Maintenance for Fissidens Nobilis
Fissidens Nobilis moss is versitle and highly adaptable plant. Once established in the aquarium, save for the occasional cleaning of the debris, it is almost maintenance-free. It does not require high lighting or special ferilizers.

You can place Fissidens Nobilis moss mat directly on top of the substrate in your aquarium. It can be used a a foreground plant and especially attractive when placed among rocks or bases of large stem plants such as swordplants. You can also attach it to rocks, driftwood and other hard surfaces.

Posted by Jared Nakayama on 19 Jan 2022This arrived a few days late due to the carrier. The mat was a little black and green patchy but seemingly it all was recoverable. The matting is tied down loosely (in a good way) so if you want to take these apart and propagate, it was easily cut and unwound. When I broke it apart, the majority stayed in clumps fairly well (vs just falling into fragments). That said, if you're planting these as-is, the threading is thin enough that it wont be seen easily in the tank. The picture is fairly accurate on what you will get as far as thickness and fluffiness. Sets in rather quickly. I would order less than you think you need as this spreads out well. Would recommend. As a side note: Had contacted customer service about the delay in shipping and they were all positive on guaranteeing the product received regardless -- A++ for taking the customers concerns seriously.

Posted by Sharon on 2 Nov 2021I have not tried a mat before. Mine was not as full and green as the picture but it is responding well in my tank. I have a small plant light that I have over it and so it’s doing quite well. I was very pleased with the order I received and everything was packaged nicely. . I will be ordering my plants from here.

Posted by Laura on 19 Oct 2021Mat arrived safely in still-damp wrappings. The picture provided is a heartier/fuller formed specimen, while the one I received is younger growth. This isn't a negative, as the mat I received was in great condition, but if you expect a lucious mat as pictured, don't be disappointed if you don't get that! Looking forward to watching it grow/thrive in my tank!
