At Modern Aquarium, we offer manzanita wood for sale in a variety of shapes and sizes. Find medium pieces that are just six inches tall as well as massive branches that average 12” x 24” in our selection.
We thoroughly clean all of our manzanita driftwood! Our team pressure washes it to ensure that it’s ready for integration into your waterscape. You can wrap the branches in moss to create a leafy tree or drive it into your substrate for a look that’s barren and haunted.
Putting Manzanita Wood in Your Tank
When you choose manzanita wood for your aquarium, you should keep in mind that this is wood collected from the wild. We do our best to ensure the wood is ready for your aquarium, but you might notice your water color change slightly from the leaching tannins. But that is a naturally occurring process and is actually beneficial for your tank inhabitants. Manzanita driftwood is also buoyant initially. If you don’t anchor it to something in your tank, it may float for a few days before sinking back down.
