Care & Maintenance for Baby Tears Giant
Baby Tears Giant is a small-leaved plant that will require good light when planted in the substrate. Regular pruning using sharp aquascaping scissors will help it tidy and more compact. Apart from good lighting, it has no other special requirements. Like most plants, Baby Tears Giant will grow faster and more compact when planted in a nutrient-rich substrate.
- Minimum Lighting Required: High
- Temperature Range: 72-86°F
- Tank Placement: Foreground and Floating
Baby Tears Giant looks best when planted in tight groups in the foreground areas of the aquarium. Using aquascaping tweezers will make the planting job much easier. However, the plant can also be used as a floating plant and as a bog plant. Planting it among the aquascaping rocks or driftwood will provide depth and accentuate your aquascaping. Baby Tears can be propagated from cuttings.
Baby Tears is also available bareroot/portion cup.
