Description
Japanese Ohko Dragon Rock originates from Japan. It is an example of a classic sedimentary rock that was formed by the compression of clay materials and other organic compounds. It is found near lakes and ponds where the water movement eroded parts of the rock creating holes, irregular edges, shapes, and ripples. It is called "dragon rock" because these "holes" or "ripples" resemble dragon scales. It is predominately golden-brown but may also display light green hues. The overall irregular shape of the rock also adds a point of interest to the aquascape. The rock's unique appearance is highly sought by aquarists and professional aquascapers alike.
