Our Selection
We currently offer Seiryu Rock by the pound. Choose from either 10 or 15-pound sets to receive an assorted selection that’s hand-picked by our team. The 10-pound set typically comes with 2 - 4 stones of varying shapes and sizes. The 15-pound set typically comes with a variety of 3 - 6 stones. Please note that the photos we provide are not exact replicas of the stones you will receive. These are designed to serve as an example of what you could receive.
Notes About Seiryu Stone
This natural aquarium rock is very dense with a large amount of calcium carbonate, which may hypothetically slightly raise the pH of your aquarium. However, because the aquarium water naturally acidifies over time, it will offset any potential calcium leaching from the Seiryu Rock. In our experience, given these home aquarium dynamics, Seiryu Rock does not change the aquarium water chemistry in any perceptible way.
You’ll also want to wash your Seiryu rocks before putting them under water. While we take care to wash away debris and impurities, storage and shipping may expose the stones to contaminants. Please wash them under running tap water to clean them of dust before introducing the stones to your tank.
