Glass or Acrylic
Depending on the material of your tank, you may have to carefully consider what type of algae scraper you need. If you have an acrylic tank, you’ll need to explore options that won’t damage the walls of your aquarium. Acrylic is more easily damaged than glass and requires a blade appropriate for the acrylic. If you have a glass tank, any aquarium glass scraper is a safe option for you.
